7. Singing copyrighted songs in public.
Many songs which are held as commonplace within society are actually copyrighted by certain individuals and therefore are illegal to sing (some of these songs include Happy Birthday, We wish you a Merry Christmas, and many other Holiday Jingles”. This sort of copyright infringement is seen by the general public, and usually by the police force as being completely ridiculous; however, due to certain lawsuits that have occurred in the past, if an organization large enough partakes in the usage of any of these materials there may be legal repercussions.
