The connection between MSG and Cancer was found by reverse engineering. It was found that blocking glutamate stops cancer from spreading; and blockage of msg helps to kill the cancer cells. Therefore one can logically assume that consumption of MSG can help to spread cancer throughout ones body, and the glutamate can help provide energy for the cancer, as well as helping it survive.
