The Alchemist is currently the most translated book written by a living author. It has been translated from the original Portuguese. The story is about a man named Santiago who is living as a Shepard. The book covers the mans journey to Egypt in order to look for treasure. Having gone there because of his reoccurring dreams; the book highlights his many adventures that result from his journey.
