2. Asymptomatic signs of HIV
Quite often, soon after having been exposed to and infected with HIV, women may show symptoms that are normally not usually associated with the disorder such as a cold, or flu, which was brought on by the HIV. However, these symptoms usually recede in roughly a week. Afterwords it could be as long as a decade before more advanced symptoms of HIV appear.
