4. Pelvic or abdominal pain

Pain in the abdomen, belly, or pelvic area is one of the main early warning signs of ovarian cancer which should not be overlooked. The feeling of this pain is usually different from the pain caused in abdomen or pelvic area due to menstrual problems or problems with indigestion. Besides continuous discomfort; this symptom can cause a number of other health problems such as problems with digestion, or difficulty passing waste. Most of the women who suffer from ovarian cancer talk about heaviness in their pelvic region.
