5. Pain in the Lower Back and Legs
When the cervix gets swollen, there is an interruption in the flow of blood to the lower back and the legs, resulting in soreness and pain. Ankles may swell too, and the hips may consequentially become painful. Such a sign should not be ignored, as it is quite common for women with cervical cancer to experience this symptom.
